Community Training

We recognize the challenges that come with working with children who have experienced trauma.

To support our community of practitioners, we offer attachment-based, trauma informed continuing education courses. Using the ARC model, we emphasize the importance of collaboration between all members of the child’s support network. Our goal is to provide continuing education and CEUs to families and professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including mental health therapists, occupational therapists, teachers, school counselors/social workers, nurses, physical therapists, speech/language therapists, or anyone who supports and works with children who have experienced trauma.

We have a newly renovated training facility with a capacity of up to 60 participants.

This facility allows us to utilize a wide variety of experiential learning opportunities in large and small groups. Continuing education will be provided by passionate and experienced individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, including mental health providers, occupational therapists, and therapeutic parents.

Please follow us on social media at High Desert Family Services to stay up to date on all upcoming CEU opportunities. You may also refer to our calendar page for currently scheduled CEU trainings.
